Partnership

The meaning of the word partner is “a person who takes part in an undertaking with another with shared risks and profits”. Partnership has both risks and profits, or benefits. So does the marriage partnership. The reason many marriages fail is because the “partners” only want to share the profit, or benefits of the marriage. However, true partnership shares in the pain and the pleasures of life. True partnership holds on in the night as well as in the day. This commitment does not falter when things get tough. It shares in the agony of the other partner while being an anchor in the storm. It supports in life’s ups and downs and does not waiver in its commitment. True partnership simply means “together”. We walk, accomplish, stand, move, work, suffer, rejoice, and worship together, no matter what!
